Narrative poem- tells a story, it has a plot, setting, and characters but unlike a storyit is written in verse
Ballad Poem- tells a story in song, the subject is usually adventure, romance or about a dramatic event
Lyric Poem- written like a song and expresses feelings, also expreses observations
